First Pottery. I love everything about clay. It's a challenge, but it's for me. :)

Great Time

leafs fall
winter calls
ain't it a great time for autumn
Cold wind whips my hair
I can see my breath in the air
ain't it a great time for winter
tree's go inside
lights go outside
ain't it a great time for Christmas
well now its just freezing
the snow isn't easing

Time to Catch Up!

Time has truly gotten away from me these past few months. However, now I'm back and determined to write at least twice a week. Lol. To catch up on all the news that has happened in my life. I shall write short,frank paragraphs.

December 21st Bradley has left to visit his family in Cali and he won't be back until the 6th of Jan.

Dec 25th was delightful, we had a great Christmas, the best part was watching Wyatt open his presents. He is in such an adorable stage, the terrible two's, to die for.



Jan, 4th was my 16th birthday, I feel as though I'm now a woman. No not really. I feel equal to 2008, nothing has really changed! What has changed... after having a sweet sixteen, is I can official date Bradley Bell {aka my wonderful boyfriend!!}.

Feb 1st, Sunny's wedding is this weekend and I'm so excited! I enjoy weddings so very much. I love to see what the bride picks out for a wedding dress and love to see how the reception comes together. I love to see what color she chose and what hair style she decided. That is what has befallen me since I last wrote. However, I have a horrible memory so I most likely left out many stories. Sorry. LoL



Today has been good. This year I've started a list. I write down every book I read because I'm resolved to read more books in 2009 than I did last year. In 2008 I had sixteen books on my list. Today, I'm done with six and on my seventh. I love to read novels, my favorite is
"A Great and Terrible Beauty," following is the second in the series, "Rebel Angels," and then the last book and the one I'm held captive by, " The Sweet Far Thing". It is an exceptional novel, not as endearing as "Twilight," or "The Host," both by Stephine Meyer. She is an amazing author. I'm entranced by these books and I can't stop reading.

Pottery

I am taking pottery wheel classes. I wanted to learn some kind of craft this summer. My first class was about a week ago, theres three other girls in my home room. Mr. Kenneth is my teacher, he's a round,happy,nice man, who seemed easygoing and satisfied with his art job. It's interesting how much time and effort you must put into preparing this log of clay, before putting one on the pottery wheels. He demonstrated making a coffee cup, he wedged it, then built it up like a cone, then pushes it down to examine for air bubbles, also to center the clay. It looks easy, but I was proved wrong, when he allowed us to have thirty minutes to mess up the balls of mud. It's a struggle to shape a piece of clay, because of the sensitivity, if your finger pushes a bit to much the whole side will come plunging down. I like to glance at the older community of students, they have more experience than me; maybe I can get some tips. Right now I'm just enduring the stage of messing up my abused ball of mud. I observe my teacher Mr. Kenneth while I'm still clasping the idea of how pottery works. I'm trying to channel my most artistic-ness and put all of it to use. I messed up on my first three clay models, it's very tiresome watching my misshapen mug or really what ever it was, fall down over and over. All though watching Mr. Kenneth construct a coffee cup or bowl must be infectious, because right after wards I wanted to jump on a pottery wheel and create an attractive coffee cup myself. It's hard, but a delightful, I love the whole Water Works atmosphere.

Twilight

For every teen aged girl who hasn't read Twilight. . . you need to read this book, It's the best love story and the most thrilling book ever! I gave it to some of my friends and now their obsessed as I am. HaHa... now to get my boyfriend!

Courtship

For anyone who doesn't know my handsome boyfriend... Let me introduce to you Bradley Bell!

We just started our courtship not to long ago, Jan 26, 2008!

I'm so happy right now! God blessed me so much with an amazing boyfriend, my wonderful family, and my best friend Ryan! :)

The Easter hayride is in a week. I'm thrilled because I love hayrides, but more importantly because it is my first official one with Brad.

I can't wait to go!!

Oregon!

Here are some pictures from my trip to Oregon! When we went to Redmond our old town and our last stop before heading home, I was so excited to see Kansada. We had an amazing time! We climbed Smith Rock with the young kids and after the hike, we enjoyed a great game of cops and robbers! lol The good ole games! :}
